I AM LEARNING FRENCH NOW I GUESS!! SOOO much change and so much growth this week, YAY!!! First off we got called as STLs (sister training leaders)!! For some reason I didn't think they called trios to be STLs, so I thought we were in the clear when President Frost asked to meet with us lol, it will be fun and I'm excited! Then we got new roommates. They are the sweetest, but speak very little English so I'm attempting to learn a little bit of French for them. Sister Taleo is from Vanuatu, Sister Bearune is from New Caledonia, and Sister Uduojie-Taofeek is from France! Very different cultures but I'm excited to become best friends with them over the next 6 weeks!! My Mini Miracles this week: 🍓 Peace in Christ at the devotional on Sunday, this song forever has a special place in my heart and hearing 800+ missionaries sing it bearing testimony of Jesus Christ had me in tears! The spirit was so STRONG! 🍓 Got some big screen time while singing in the Choir lol! 🍓 Sister Potter (teacher) has been teaching us some traditional Mongolian Dancing which is so FUN! 🍓 Laughing with my district, they seriously are the best! 🍓 I had so many good convos with my comps this week! 🍓 Hanging out with Prete эгч, Giolas эгч, Laruerax эгч, the other Mongolian Trio! 🍓 We have miracle time every night, and I love the personal time I get to spend with Jesus everyday! 🍓 Monday district runs, lol! Good bonding and good exercise! 🍓 Got to do sealings last saturday, the spirit was so STRONG! We graduated from the Timp Temple and now get to schedule our own appointments at the Provo City Center Temple YAY! 🍓 Learned how to bear a short testimony in Mongolian wahoo!! Definitely some overwhelming moments this week with the language, but I know it will come with time and practice! 🙏 🍓 Finally memorized the mission purpose in Mongolian YAY! 🙌 Other stuff… ✨️ The Mongolian Sisters, the Japanese District, and some of my other friends left this week! I'm already missing them so much!😭 ✨️ The food is getting to me, but dried mangos, popcorn, granola bars and apples are my best friend! ✨️ Our teachers Chinbaatar ах , and Potter эгч got ENGAGED!!!! So excited for them! They are getting married September 6, which is two days after we leave for Mongolia so unfortunately we won't be able to attend. ✨️ We are on the 4th floor of every building so we climb more than 150 stairs everyday! 🙌 Who needs a stair-stepper when you can climb actual stairs lol! ✨️ We get to go teach at the BYU ELC (English language center) next week, so lmk what my teacher name should be?!? SPIRITUAL THOUGHT: WOW I just love the Book of Mormon and my testimony of its truths have grown so much since being a missionary! It is true and I know God has given it to us so we can learn and feel his love! Moroni 10:5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Reading the Book of Mormon will bring so much happiness and peace into your life, and I know that as you read it God will confirm that it is true!! I love you all so much! баяртай!
