Miriah's Mongolia Mission Expereince

Hello! This one is a long one because a lot of growth happened! This week was a rollercoaster of feeling uncapable, and times that helped me come closer to Jesus Christ! God gave us the opportunity to go do service at Nyamsuren's house on Thursday! I was so excited because I started the week feeling so useless!! She fed us food, food that I've never tried, then told us to start sewing! (so grateful for the many days I spent sewing with my mom and grandma) however I've never sewed wool before… it's thick, it's dirty, it's got bugs. It was so fun at the start, she was singing traditional songs, while we sewed yards of thick wool together! The wool goes around her house as an insulation to keep the heat in during the winter! Unfortunately we didn't finish before another meeting we had to get to, so we offered to come back Friday morning! She is the cutest and it was so fun getting to know her! We literally just walked and talked for three hours! #PerryandBerry We went on VACATION to the city! 🌃 So much fun, but it made me appreciate being out in the countryside because the city is so overwhelming!! Anyway the reason we went to the city was because Elder Neil L. Andersen came! YAY!! Thursday Night was a devotional for all the members! Due to the temple being announced before he got here, the devo was focused on the temple!✨️ He explained how important each room in the temple is, and which covenants you make in the rooms! I have felt God's love for me and for those around me so much this week! The work here is awesome, but it is definitely different!! Miracles= 🍓 Tuesday- (p-day) Tsatsaral (a member here) drove us to Saikhanii Hutel which is a mountain/hill that has statues of Chengis and his last wife! At the top it looks out towards Russia! Wednesday- Did a whole lot of address checking, and to be honest didnt talk to really anyone but I was grateful to see more of Selenge!! We also had a lesson with Sarangua, she is so eager to learn about Jesus Christ, I love her so much!! Hi, I am doing so well and I'm loving every minute of being in Mongolia! I kinda got too excited writing this so it's long!! But I saw so many miracles everyday! I also did run out of time so sorry for bad grammar/spelling! Miracles = 🍓 Monday- Feels like forever ago! I took my tag off, and put it in my checked bag which felt weird. Then said bye to my luggage. To end MTC we had a testimony meeting with our district and all our amazing teachers that I love so so much!! 🍓 I only had to pay for one over weight bag! 🍓 The spirit was so strong in testimony meeting! 🍓 I had the best MTC teachers Tuesday- We left the MTC around 12, then got on a bus which took us to the train station, then we took the train to salt lake, then took the tracks to the airport!
