Read the Spiritual Thought!

Hello everyone!!!! (Sorry this is long, PLEASE at least read my Spiritual thought!) We definitely had a lot of ups and a lot of downs this week but the ups are so HIGH and make me completely forget about the downs! So here's my Miracles/ Highlights of the week! 🍓 Go and Do! For those of you who don't know, every Sunday missionaries get the opportunity to have personal study for about 3 hours every Sunday! This Sunday I read my patriarchal blessing, then listened to a podcast titled “The Church's miraculous start and growth in Mongolia with Sister Mary Cook” and WOW Mongolia is the coolest place on this earth and I haven't even been there yet! While listening to it I was just so comforted and reminded that there is work for me to do in Mongolia! 🍓 Solved my First Rubics cube yay!! Shoutout with Ахлагч Bowman for being patient enough to teach me over and over lol! 🍓 Got to have class/ do stuff with the other Mongolian District! They are the best and I'm so grateful for all of them!! 🍓 My district sang “Teach me to Walk in the Light” in Mongolian for the musical number in Sacrament meeting! (Theres a vid/recording in my google photos) 🍓 Temple! Going to the temple always makes my week better, and helps me feel so close to my Savior, Jesus Christ! 🍓 Volleyball, to be honest I'm the worst at volleyball but it makes me laugh so that's why I love it! 🍓 Got to sing “We Will Bring the World His Truth” in the choir at the devotional on Tuesday!! TWICE! My dreams came true for real! SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!!!! 🍓 Devotional by Elder Neil L. ANDERSON! This devotional was seriously amazing and I felt the spirit so so strong! -First of all the spirit that he and his wife can bring into a room by just standing there is amazing! I know he is called of God! -Second of all he has a special place in my heart because he plays a big role in building up the church in Mongolia! - Third Elder Anderson talked about Faith, praying, and when bad things happen in our life! Here's some things that stood out to me.. -Growing your faith takes WORK but it's worth the WORK that you put into it. -Remember your WHY when things get hard! Build your reservoirs so when trials arise you can pull from the spiritual experiences in that reservoir! 🌟 Now for my favorite part… Elder Anderson said something on the lines of “When you are doing IMPORTANT things other things get way.” BOOM THE MIKE STOPS WORKING!! The tech people couldn't figure it out so he turns to us (the choir) and says, “lets hear that song again.” So we got to sing “We Will Bring the World His Truth” again and halfway through he invited the whole room to join in and stand!!! THE SPIRIT WAS SO STRONG! It was so cool to be 1 out of the 1000 missionaries bearing Testimony of bringing God's children back to him! Then the room fell completely silent as we all eagerly listened to him bare the sweetest most pure testimony that Jesus Christ Lives. That he loves us, and that when we go through trials he is with us! I can testify of these truths as well and I know that Jesus Christ Lives and Loves all of you!
