Priesthood Power 💪🙌

Happy P-day!! Such a good week, I am so grateful for everything that happened!! Here's a couple of highlights! We went friend finding this week in Shamar, a town about a thirty minute drive away where a lot of our members live! It was my first time there YAY! Everything is super spread out but we didn't know that until we were walking around! We had our taxi drop us off at Oyuntuyas house, she has the sweetest family! We were able to talk to her for a little then she asked where we were going next! We then quickly pulled up directions to a less active friends house (closest one to her house) and learned that it was a 45 minute walk. So then she offered to drive us and help us for the day! We didn't have any success unfortunately but we were able to spend time with Oyuntuya which was so fun! We also walked to Carpus on Saturday, another town, a hour walk because none of the ATMs were working YAY which meant no taxi for us! I love the walk though because it's beautiful! Anyway GOD'S TIMING IS PERFECT! I say that because everything lined up just right for us to be walking around Ariuntuya's house when her drunk husband started yelling сүмийн хүмүүс (church people)! We asked if this is Ariuntuya's house, and he said yes and invited us in! YAY! Thinking she was inside my comp started taking off her winter attire, I was stalling because this guy was completely wasted, and I hadn't seen Ariuntuya yet! He keeps telling me to sit so I slowly start to take my coat off and Ariuntuya walks in (she was not home, kinda scary)! Her husband leaves, and while he's gone we share a scripture with her, and are about to pray when her husband comes back with his drunk friend. His friend sat down and just started telling us everything he knows about Jesus Christ, and his life story! It was wild, then by the end of our conversation he asked when chruch was and so we invited him! He came to church, and was indeed one day sober!! Then he also showed up to our English class yesterday, and after the Elders gave him a lesson because we couldn't find a gerch unfortunately! BUT GODS BEEN PREPARING HIM!!! And he seems super interested to keep learning which is so GOOD!! We also did service at Enksurens house again which was so fun! We stacked wood, and shoveled leaves and weeds! Then after we were done the Elders gave her a blessing because she has been sick, and the spirit was so strong! OK MIRACLES.. 🍓 saw a new view over a thousand of trees 🍓 had dinner with Tsatral and Ujin 🍓 listen to a band play at the church 🍓 God covered the sky with pink one morning 🍓 I had ears to hear and understand more this week 🍓 I gave a talk in church, and the spirit helped me! 🍓 Found a new friend this week 🍓 We did service for Enksuren 🍓 Found a gold coin 🍓 Munktsatsral told me I was a good teacher! 🍓 Tsatral wrote me a note, it's exactly what I needed! 🍓 Listend to a jam session from this cutie band that practice at the church 🍓 saw a woodpecker SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!! Since being here in Mongolia I have been able to witness a couple of priesthood blessings, and a baptism, and confirmation! And WOW God loves us so much that he has allowed us to have access to his power here on earth! The spirit truly grows stronger as hands are placed on heads for healing, comfort, and strength! I am so grateful for the opportunity to have the priesthood in my life, and feel so blessed to have an army of priesthood holders in my family at home! D&C 121:36 That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness.
