Peace In Christ 🫶🙏

Hi back at it again! Umm im just gonna begin with saying it is COLD walking home the other day it was 4°F , but honestly we make the most of it! My comp ate the ice two more times this week, everyone pray she can stay on her feet! Ice 3, Fifita 0! 🥶 ❓️Question of the week… how can the weather app say that is 4°F but then also says “feels like -11°F”, like wouldn't that just be the temperature?❓️ Then we were able to meet with two different members in their homes this week! -First Naranzul, she is our stake president's mother in law! She has the strongest testimony and is a proud mom to say all her children are members! -Second Tsatral and Hishigjargal!! They made us tsuvin (noodles with meat, veggie) for dinner, so yum! We sat around their table and were each able to bear our testimonies of our loved ones who have returned to our loving Heavenly Father!! The spirit was so pure and so strong! God gave us a SECOND CHANCE!!!! 🙌🤗 Ok real quick we had a zoom lesson with Aminsar, it was my first time leading the lesson!!! Unfortunately she was not understanding, our gerch canceled at the last minute, and the connection was not good, there were so many distractions, it felt like everything was going wrong. We ended the lesson with a scripture, about Jesus Christ's time on earth! I have never felt so discouraged in my life! I felt like she wasn't going to want to learn more because of how horrible the lesson went! BUT THEN, she texted us and asked if she could come to the church later that day for a lesson in person! We were able to give her a pamphlet and have a member sit in to help us! The second time went so much better, and after we got to sing hymns together! “It's not what you teach, it's what the spirit testifies to them.” - David A. Bednar We also had Zone Conference!!! I genuinely wish that you all could have just been there because it was so awesome!!! I have the best mission leaders!!! The night before, there was a really big snow storm across Mongolia so our ZL advised us to take a train instead of a taxi! We got to Darkhan around 9 pm and stayed the night with Sister James, Sister Baasanbyamba, Sister Jo, and Sister Shilla! Let's just say when you have that many Sisters together, sleep isn't really a thing lol! Saturday Morning was Zone Conference YAY! God gave me the opportunity to play the piano again wahoo! I got to play Peace In Christ while Sister Fifita (my comp), Sister Stewart, and Sister Perry (our AMAZING STLS) sang!! Peace in Christ has a special place in my heart because it helps me feel so close to my guardian Angels, and it was so special to bear my testimony through that song with my Zone!! I learned a ton from my amazing Mission President, I wish you all could meet him!! Please pray for his kids, they have been struggling being all the way over here away from home!! I also want to be real with those that read my emails, because I write my emails based on the good that happens, which might make it seem like butterflies and rainbows but trust there are days that are so hard the only way I get through them is because of my Savior Jesus Christ!! I didn't come on a mission for it to be easy, I came because I love my Savior!! SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!! Mosiah 29:20 But behold, he did deliver them because they did humble themselves before him; and because they cried mightily unto him he did deliver them out of bondage; and thus doth the Lord work with his power in all cases among the children of men, extending the arm of mercy towards them that put their trust in him. I trust in the Lord, I trust in his plan and know it is perfect! He loves us so much that he came to the earth and made it possible for us to be forgiven, to be cleansed, to be healed, and to find joy in the little things! There IS peace in Christ.
