Rays of Light ✨️๐ฉท
Oh Heyyy
What a week…
Had exchanges YAY!!! I love my STLs!! Perry and Sister Stewart are the sweetest people ever! I got to go on exchange with Sister Stewart, she is going home this transfer and I took advantage of the time we had together! She taught me how to become a better missionary, and helped me feel Gods love!! I look up to her so much!!
It snowed a couple inches this weekend, which made Selenge super pretty and white! However they don't have snow plows or anything so it just turned into ice! Anyways my comp and I were walking to the church Friday and she completely slipped straight on to the floor! We died laughing after the fact because it was in the middle of the road! God's got a personality that's for sure!
SUNDAY was an amazing day!! Church starts at 12 here in Selenge, but people don't really show up till 12:05! I prayed so hard that the Sacrament room would be full, but was doubtful considering we only had 5 people there at 12! BUT GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS! Due to some technical difficulties we didnt start till around 12:15, so we stood at the door a little longer welcoming people in! Our sacrament room quickly turned from 5 people to around 40! We had 2 investigators, 2 new people, 4 priesthood holders, some less active members that we heart attacked this week, and a bunch of our AMAZING MEMBERS!! It might not have been physically full but it felt full to me, and the spirit was so strong!!
One of our investigators names is Dalguur, and I just have to tell you all about her because she is so special to me!! She is this little 4’8 emee (old lady/grandma), that I just love so much! Even though I can't fully communicate with her, I was able to connect with her through dancing at the relief society party a couple weeks ago! Anyway, we taught a lesson to one of our new friends and she helped us teach along with 2 of our members! Dalguur isn't baptized YET but she has the sweetest testimony, it had me in tears! After the lesson she also gave me the biggest hug that I will cherish forever! I love her so much!!

‼️ SPIRITUAL THOUGHT ‼️
On my exchange with Sister Stewart I asked her how I could become a better missionary, and how to make the most of my mission! She shared the quote from President Russell M. Nelson which states,
“My dear brothers and sisters, the joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives.”
Missions (and life in gerneral) are hard, but she told me to focus on the RAYS OF LIGHT (miriacles) everyday! Because as we focus our lives on Christ and search for his hand in our everyday lives even when it is hard we will be able to experience JOY!!
I know he lives! I know he loves you! Look for the Rays of light he puts into your life this week!!
