A Tad Bit Chill 🥶

Yo I haven't frozen to death yet but have gotten pretty close! The past couple days have been ranging from -20 to -40s degrees FAHRENHEIT which honestly isn't too bad without wind! The wind makes it pretty miserable tho! Before beginning my mission I told myself I wouldn't let the cold weather stop me from doing the Lord's work. I have been mentally preparing myself for this weather for a whole year, but I never imagined how cold it actually is! I wouldn't say that its stopping me from doing his work but we have definitely spent more time contacting people inside over the phone. Imagine the feeling of pins and needles in your legs, and the stiffness in your knees in every step you take. Or the pain of your hands going numb, and stiff after 30 seconds! Lol I promise I love my mission but this week has definitely been one I will never forget!! I am living through a Mongolian Winter which is so cool, crazy, wild, mind blowing and seriously just unimaginable to me! Anyway I'm still trying to figure out this new area, and who people are which has been good but also challenging this week! We were lucky enough to get into 2 peoples houses this week, and do service for one of our investigators family! We went to Naraas, this amazing member who has some health issues which prevents her from coming to church, but she taught us how to make khosher which was so fun! Her testimony is seriously so awesome!! We also went to Anhtuyas, who is a less active member because she works a ton in the city!! We read the scriptures with her and she shared her favorite scriptures with us which was awesome!! The Gift of Tongues definitely carried in this meeting for me!! Ok now service at Hulangoos! We legit walked in and her dad had just sliced his thumb open with a hand saw! Good thing he was wearing gloves because I think if he wasn't his whole thumb would have been cut off!! Anyway we moved lots of trash for them and my hands were completely numb after thirty minutes but its zuger! We also had Zone Conference which was so GOOD like always!! I got to see all my cutie mission friends which was wayy fun!! ✨️ MIRACLES ✨️ 🍓Getting into Sosoburams house!! 🍓Shoveling snow with warm gloves 🍓 Hulangoo and her little sister! 🍓 time to practice the piano 🍓learning how to make khosher at naraas, and getting taking to and from her house 🍓 heaters at the chruch warming my feet up! 🍓 God magnifying my talents when I was so stressed and anxious 🍓 Sister Kunzs mom hug!! #imissmymoms 🍓 got seats on the bus 🍓 feeling so much love through the people around me!! ✨️ Spiritual thought aka thoughts from ZC “Give yourself grace in your weaknesses, and lean on your strengths” -Sister Kunz God gives us weakness so that we can grow! This hit real hard for me this week because I have become super aware of my weaknesses the past couple of days. However, I know that God will help me overcome them.
