Jesus is my Strength

Yooo I'm not gonna lie, this week was a rollercoaster had some really good highs but also some really low lows! I'll start with some highs… got to go on exchange with Sister Thomas, WOW she is pure light and joy! Incredible missionary! We might have taken two wrong busses then walked for a hour with a Emee in our ward trying to find a less active members house that ended up not being home, then sat in traffic for 2 hours on a bus YAY! But we got to talk to lots of cool people on the bus which was good! Sister James and I have started running! Wow I am out of shape but wow it feels so good! One of our investigators Azaa came to a baptism completely wasted, and during a musical number leaned over to Sis James and asked if it was okay that he had drunk a whole bottle of vodka before coming. We will for sure be teaching him about the word of Wisdom this week! He also came to church the next day which was good! Got to teach primary songs to the kids at church on Sunday! It was quite chaotic, but there's nothing better than hearing little kids scream songs about Jesus! Sister James and I now wash each other's hair because the water is too cold to do it in the shower, and it makes us laugh! We also had Zone Conference YAY! Its always exactly what I need! Got blessed with the opportunity to sing the song Gratitude with my comp, Sister Wynn, Sister Harmon while the goat Elder Andersen played the guitar! The spirit was so incredibly strong when my Mission President got up and shared some sacred experiences he has had with the spirit! I learned so much! I am so grateful for him and Sister Kunz! Ok some lows… felt so so inadequate this week, because I haven't seen much growth in my language in a hot second. So if you have any tips let me know it would be greatly appreciated! The travel time for this area is INSANE which makes it hard to get into peoples homes which kinda makes the work feel unproductive because we spend majority of our time on the bus! Had probably the worst English class ive ever taught because the students don't really care to learn so it felt more like babysitting! It lowkey took so much out of us ๐Ÿ˜ญ! I think the reason it was hard is because we care so much for these students to learn because we know it will benefit their lives forever but they don't see that! Completely exhausted, im convinced I will be tired for the rest of my life YAY! Ok enough of that here's my… ✨️ MIRACLES ✨️ ๐Ÿ“Hope Bold gerching for us last minute ๐Ÿ“ got to teach a class of Seniors which was so fun! ๐Ÿ“ sister james being kind enough to wash my hair! ๐Ÿ“ practicing our song for Zone conference! ๐Ÿ“ morning runs after it rains! ๐Ÿ“ spent the day with Chuka Egch ๐Ÿ“ Exchange with Sister Thomas! She was so patient with me! ๐Ÿ“ Having the confidence to talk to people on the bus! ๐Ÿ“ Seeing and riding the bus with Odgerel ๐Ÿ“ good zone trainings! ๐Ÿ“ tacos! ๐Ÿ“ got caught up on phone calls, we have so many YAY! ๐Ÿ“ Crying with Sister James during comp study! ๐Ÿ“ playing the piano in church and sacrament! ๐Ÿ“ Laughing so hard with Sister James! ๐Ÿ“ Azaa came to the baptism and to church! ๐Ÿ“ lesson with Khangarid ๐Ÿ“ going to the BZ to sing America the Beautiful, and the joy I felt seeing my members! ๐Ÿ“ Sister Bartholomew sent me a Strawberry Keychain! ๐Ÿ“ God helping us get everything done! ๐Ÿ“ Such a good Zone Conference! ๐Ÿ“ call ins that makes us laugh so hard! ๐Ÿ“ peanutbutter bars! ๐Ÿ“ sunsets ✨️SPIRITUAL THOUGHT✨️ Jacob 4:7 Nevertheless, the Lord God showeth us our weakness that we may know that it is by his grace, and his great condescensions unto the children of men, that we have power to do these things. Through my weaknesses I am able to turn to the Savior and find the ability to do what he needs me! He helped me so much this week! He is my strength, and I would be ten times weaker if I didn't have him walking with me! I love my Jesus! I KNOW HE LIVES! I KNOW HE LOVES US! ะฅะฐะนั€ั‚ะฐะน ะจาฏาฏ Sister Berry ๐Ÿซถ

Wow, another good week! Started off with an exchange with Sister Fish YAY! She was one of my comps in the MTC and I just love her so much!! She is so hard working, so loving and so patient! Then had some fire lessons… one of which was with Munkhzaya and her daughter! Munkhzaya is actually sisters with my friend Solongoo who I was teaching in Nalaikh! She is super eager to learn so I'm super excited for her to grow a relationship with Christ! Also had a lesson with Khuvtuguldur and he is also really eager to learn which is quite awesome!! With both of these lessons, we got to teach them about who God, and Jesus Christ are! It's probably my favorite lesson to teach for one because we teach it a lot, and im getting better at teaching it lol! But also because explaining to someone for the First time that they have a loving Heavenly Father, who sent his son Jesus Christ to die for them is seriously so powerful! I know God loves me because I am in Mongolia!

Sain uu I felt his love so much this week… Last P-day we got to go to the Chengis Khaan statue and it was so incredibly windy but so fun! I got to go on exchange with Sister Galina, she is serving in Khentii right now which is a 6 hour bus ride from the city!! I seriously love her and learned so much!! It was a lowkey rough exchange because nothing went as planned but she is SO positive and SO fun!! It was also nice to speak lots of Mongolian!! Then Friday I got to go on exchange with the one and only Sister Morton, if yall have been following along with my wild adventures here you might remember that I got etd to Erdenet for 2 weeks to be with Sister Mort back in January and WOWZA I just love her! She's dying this transfer which means she's a very old missionary, which also means I took advantage to learn from the knowledge she has gained since being a missionary! I Choose Jesus

The city is kicking my behind… I go to bed tired and I wake up tired, but it's the good kind of tired, because I know I am giving my all to God's work. He has provided me with energy right when I need it this week and I am so so grateful!! We are still trying to figure out our area, and have met with some of our members but excited for this next week to get into more homes! We saw so many awesome Miracles but I want to expand on one of them! Thursday we were out address checking… in what we thought was our teaching area but is actually not lol ๐Ÿ˜… We had just finished knocking on a door and were on our way to our next address when I said sain baina uu to this lady! She got so excited and we ended up talking to her for 20 minutes! Her name is Tsatsral, she kept telling us that we have been to her house and that she made us khosher! We found out that she thought we were Sister Barton and Sister Stewart that went to her home last summer and finished their missions in November...
