Come HOME gene

I learned so much this week and wish that I had the time to write it all in this email but unfortunately I dont :) First off we are still teaching Azaa and he is progressing to baptism YAY, and he is literally working so hard to change his whole life! It is awesome to see his faith increase as he gives up addictions! We started teaching Sunder, she is 8 and her family is all members! When we went to there home we humbly sat on the floor, sang “I am a child of God” and taught her about Jesus! I have found a new love for teaching kids! We went on an exchange with Sister Wolfgramm, I love her a lot! We were in her area and got to do service for Oyunbayar, then we got to go to an amazing member meeting at Munkhsukh and Dagiis house! These guys live in a ger a little up the mountain and it was so beautiful! God really loves us so much, to bless us with this beautiful earth! All of the city missionary's got the opportunity to sing along with our mongolian members to represent our church in the celebration of America's 250 years of Freedom! It was so cool to sing an american song and a mongolian song all together! On sunday we had HXP kids come to our ward, and it reminded me so much of mine! Shoutout my HXP friends love you all lots! But anyway a third of them got to come with us to Ekhmaas house and WOW the Spirit was so strong! Her story is truly inspiring to me! She went on a mission with only 1 chapter of the Book of Mormon translated into the Mongolian language, no MTC experience, and never been to the temple! She served in Russia which was incredibly hard for her to learn the language, and the gospel at the same time! We are so blessed to have so many resources to learn about Jesus that help us grow closer to him! Please don't take them for granted! After we came home and kneeled down to pray to plan/set goals for the week, and then heard a weird noise. The pipe under our sink burst open YAY! our apartment flooded and it was a miracle we were home because we weren't originally supposed to be!! Batmunkh came and saved the day on a Sunday! Two claps and a fist for him for real! Yesterday we got to do an exchange with Sister Harmon and Sister Wynn(one of my MTC comps)!! Oh how I love these sisters! They are amazing examples of Christ and we laugh so much together! I feel so blessed to serve with them! I got to go with Sister Harmon, she is from alpine YAY! I learned so much from her about the desire to serve God and giving it your all!! Anyway my companion and I are incredibly overwhelmed with the amount of work God is trusting us with and I think it comes because we are both giving our all to God, not holding anything back and putting everything on the altar of sacrifice! “Obedience brings blessings, but exact obedience brings miracles.” ✨️ MIRACLES ✨️ ๐Ÿ“ reading book of Mormon stories with Sondor ๐Ÿ“ being in the ger districts #takemetothehuduu ๐Ÿ“ Badarch and her testimony ๐Ÿ“ power nap ๐Ÿ“ really good, fun, spiritual call ins ๐Ÿ“ our english students had me laughing ๐Ÿ“ taught 2 lessons in homes on the same day! ๐Ÿ“ service with sis Wolfgramm at Oyunbayars ๐Ÿ“ being in the mountains at Munkhsukh and Dagiis ๐Ÿ“ slept like a rock one night ๐Ÿ“ surprising sister Wynn 2 times in her birthday and making her feel loved! ๐Ÿ“ Bites this yummy bagel place ๐Ÿ“ feeling so close to my Savior during personal study ๐Ÿ“ having lots of fun at America's 250 anniversary ๐Ÿ“ Azaa, Munkhgul, ariun-erdene, and Sundur all came to church! ๐Ÿ“ going to Enkhmaas with the HXP trip and feeling the spirit so strong! ๐Ÿ“ being home to stop the water! ๐Ÿ“ Batmunkh! ๐Ÿ“ Laughing on our call ins! ๐Ÿ“ Sister Harmon and Sister Wynn! ๐Ÿ“ banana bread and good talks ๐Ÿ“ morning run on exchange! ๐Ÿ“ shared a spiritual thought with Nasa egch ๐Ÿ“ comp study with Sister Harmon! ๐Ÿ“ the sunsets have been beautiful lately! ๐Ÿ“ my companion Sister James! ✨️Spiritual Thought✨️ I've been studying lately about how Jesus taught others when he was on the Earth, medeej one of the ways he taught was in parables… then I studied some more parables this week and feel like I need to share my testimony about the prodigal son!! (Luke 15:11-32) IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW FAR AWAY YOU GET FROM GOD…. HE WILL ALWAYS BE WAITING FOR YOU WITH OPEN ARMS! All caps for emphasis, it does not matter how badly you've sinned, Jesus literally suffered, bleed, and died for YOU! He wants you to come HOME! Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. He rejoices when you choose to come back to him! Wow, another good week! Started off with an exchange with Sister Fish YAY! She was one of my comps in the MTC and I just love her so much!! She is so hard working, so loving and so patient! Then had some fire lessons… one of which was with Munkhzaya and her daughter! Munkhzaya is actually sisters with my friend Solongoo who I was teaching in Nalaikh! She is super eager to learn so I'm super excited for her to grow a relationship with Christ! Also had a lesson with Khuvtuguldur and he is also really eager to learn which is quite awesome!! With both of these lessons, we got to teach them about who God, and Jesus Christ are! It's probably my favorite lesson to teach for one because we teach it a lot, and im getting better at teaching it lol! But also because explaining to someone for the First time that they have a loving Heavenly Father, who sent his son Jesus Christ to die for them is seriously so powerful! I know God loves me because I am in Mongolia!

Sain uu I felt his love so much this week… Last P-day we got to go to the Chengis Khaan statue and it was so incredibly windy but so fun! I got to go on exchange with Sister Galina, she is serving in Khentii right now which is a 6 hour bus ride from the city!! I seriously love her and learned so much!! It was a lowkey rough exchange because nothing went as planned but she is SO positive and SO fun!! It was also nice to speak lots of Mongolian!! Then Friday I got to go on exchange with the one and only Sister Morton, if yall have been following along with my wild adventures here you might remember that I got etd to Erdenet for 2 weeks to be with Sister Mort back in January and WOWZA I just love her! She's dying this transfer which means she's a very old missionary, which also means I took advantage to learn from the knowledge she has gained since being a missionary! I Choose Jesus

The city is kicking my behind… I go to bed tired and I wake up tired, but it's the good kind of tired, because I know I am giving my all to God's work. He has provided me with energy right when I need it this week and I am so so grateful!! We are still trying to figure out our area, and have met with some of our members but excited for this next week to get into more homes! We saw so many awesome Miracles but I want to expand on one of them! Thursday we were out address checking… in what we thought was our teaching area but is actually not lol ๐Ÿ˜… We had just finished knocking on a door and were on our way to our next address when I said sain baina uu to this lady! She got so excited and we ended up talking to her for 20 minutes! Her name is Tsatsral, she kept telling us that we have been to her house and that she made us khosher! We found out that she thought we were Sister Barton and Sister Stewart that went to her home last summer and finished their missions in November...
