Faith to move mountains!

What a week… We legit only spent a couple days in our area wahoo! I am exhausted and my body is feeling it hard core, but it was such a good week! Main events.. was being sick… My companion and I could barely move on Wednesday. It was so bad, but we pushed through and went and supported some of our sisters! Then the next day we taught our new member Ichinkhorloo, she is this old emee, has an amazing testimony and just kept saying amen amen amen! It was such a good spirit filled lesson! After we went straight to the BZ (our mission home) and we now have GREEN English teaching NAME TAGS! To be honest I don't know how I feel about them because I've gotten so used to not wearing a name tag, I don't really feel like I need one! However it will be good, and has already brought so many questions from other people! YAY! Then we got on a 24 hour bus ride to KHOVD!! Literally my dream area and it did not disappoint! We got to spend all of Saturday with Sister Shilla and Sister Smith! I love them so much! I exchanged with Sister Shilla, and WOW learned so much!! She puts forth so much effort and has grown so much! She loves serving, and is so good at connecting with people! So so proud of her! We got to go to a family's house for dinner, we ate tsuvin, played shagai and then read the scriptures together in a circle on the floor! I don't think life could be any better! Then we flew back to the city Sunday morning, and the second we landed and turned our phones off of airplane mode we got a text from President Kunz about our new assignments… We joined an online call with them a little later and gave us our reassignment… I am going to the WEST ULAANBAATAR MISSION!!! So I will be getting a new mission President. Tears were definitely shed because President and Sister Kunz have impacted my life so much, and have taught me how to rely on Jesus Christ! Please continue to pray for them that they will be able to come back to Mongolia soon! Ok ok yesterday we went to our new members Amirlan and Khangais house and were gonna teach them a new member lesson! Their mom Tserendulam is almost all the way def, and communicates through sign language, but is a member! They were kinda busy but welcomed us in so we kept it short! Showed a video Jesus atonement. Then I felt impressed to pray, but also sign it! So we kneeled down and in very broken sign language prayed for this family! It definitely wasn't perfect but we were able to feel God's love for this family so strongly! ✨️MIRACLES✨️ ๐Ÿ“ the spirit leading us in discussions to help others grow closer to God ๐Ÿ“ sleeping when we were sick ๐Ÿ“ a sweet lesson with Ichinkhorloo ๐Ÿ“ got great name tags YAY ๐Ÿ“ made it to our bus early, and had a good taxi! ๐Ÿ“ Talking to MJ on the bus to Khovd, such a cool guy! ๐Ÿ“ the cute girl families we made friends with on the bus, and the emees ๐Ÿ“ one of the ladies put a blanket on me in the middle of the night ๐Ÿ“ stopping for the bathroom ๐Ÿ“ being in the huduu ๐Ÿ“ the sunsets I saw this week! ๐Ÿ“ good talk with Sister Shilla, and learning from her! ๐Ÿ“ dinner at Tsagantsetseg and Amirjagals, playing shagai with them, and reading scriptures ๐Ÿ“ crying with President and Sister Kunz after getting our reassignments! ๐Ÿ“ my MTC trio is going West with me! ๐Ÿ“ sister james always wanting to serve me! ๐Ÿ“ medicine ๐Ÿ“ good personal study about faith ๐Ÿ“ peanutbutter challenge #got100 ๐Ÿ“ Signing a prayer for Tserendulam ๐Ÿ“ talking to Byambaa, and her sharing bartsig with us! ✨️SPIRITUAL THOUGHT✨️ Monday morning I lowkey woke up feeling defeated, overwhelmed, and very stressed with what we need to get done this week but then I studied about faith… and read this talk by President Nelson from April 2021 Christ Is Risen; Faith in Him Will Move Mountains https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2021/04/49nelson?lang=eng “Your growing faith in Him will move mountains—not the mountains of rock that beautify the earth but the mountains of misery in your lives. Your flourishing faith will help you turn challenges into unparalleled growth and opportunity.” I have faith in Jesus Christ, I know he suffered for me! He knows and is very aware of my feelings of defeat, overwhelment, and stress! I know that as WE put our faith in him, hard things get easier, and we come out stronger then we could ever imagine! Wow, another good week! Started off with an exchange with Sister Fish YAY! She was one of my comps in the MTC and I just love her so much!! She is so hard working, so loving and so patient! Then had some fire lessons… one of which was with Munkhzaya and her daughter! Munkhzaya is actually sisters with my friend Solongoo who I was teaching in Nalaikh! She is super eager to learn so I'm super excited for her to grow a relationship with Christ! Also had a lesson with Khuvtuguldur and he is also really eager to learn which is quite awesome!! With both of these lessons, we got to teach them about who God, and Jesus Christ are! It's probably my favorite lesson to teach for one because we teach it a lot, and im getting better at teaching it lol! But also because explaining to someone for the First time that they have a loving Heavenly Father, who sent his son Jesus Christ to die for them is seriously so powerful! I know God loves me because I am in Mongolia!

Sain uu I felt his love so much this week… Last P-day we got to go to the Chengis Khaan statue and it was so incredibly windy but so fun! I got to go on exchange with Sister Galina, she is serving in Khentii right now which is a 6 hour bus ride from the city!! I seriously love her and learned so much!! It was a lowkey rough exchange because nothing went as planned but she is SO positive and SO fun!! It was also nice to speak lots of Mongolian!! Then Friday I got to go on exchange with the one and only Sister Morton, if yall have been following along with my wild adventures here you might remember that I got etd to Erdenet for 2 weeks to be with Sister Mort back in January and WOWZA I just love her! She's dying this transfer which means she's a very old missionary, which also means I took advantage to learn from the knowledge she has gained since being a missionary! I Choose Jesus

The city is kicking my behind… I go to bed tired and I wake up tired, but it's the good kind of tired, because I know I am giving my all to God's work. He has provided me with energy right when I need it this week and I am so so grateful!! We are still trying to figure out our area, and have met with some of our members but excited for this next week to get into more homes! We saw so many awesome Miracles but I want to expand on one of them! Thursday we were out address checking… in what we thought was our teaching area but is actually not lol ๐Ÿ˜… We had just finished knocking on a door and were on our way to our next address when I said sain baina uu to this lady! She got so excited and we ended up talking to her for 20 minutes! Her name is Tsatsral, she kept telling us that we have been to her house and that she made us khosher! We found out that she thought we were Sister Barton and Sister Stewart that went to her home last summer and finished their missions in November...
